Beverly Bonaparte, Ph.D., RN

Beverly H Bonaparte is president of her international consulting firm International Nursing Solutions, (INS) LLC, which partners with local, national, and global clients to ensure the development of transformative and sustainable nursing education and healthcare systems that meet the needs of the population in the US and abroad.
 
Bonaparte is respected as an experienced leader in nursing education and nursing service having led the growth and development of graduate and undergraduate nursing programs at several universities and provided leadership as the Chief Nurse Executive for the largest public hospital system in the US in New York City and made significant contributions to international nursing education and healthcare. Her combined leadership, policy, and research experience made her a strong advocate for linkages between national, regional, and international nursing and non-nursing organizations as evidenced by her work in western and southern Africa, the Caribbean, and several countries across the globe.

She served on the Board of Trustees of universities, hospitals, non-profit organizations, and government agencies and in each instance, her healthcare and nursing education expertise contributed to policy initiatives and added a nursing voice to the deliberations.

Bonaparte earned a Master's and Ph.D. in nursing from New York University and completed the Adult Nurse Practitioner program at the State University of New York @ Stonybrook. She is a former Senior Fulbright Scholar and a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
