    Dr. Sunil Kumar Rai is a dedicated Assistant Professor of Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences (Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ) Saint Kitts. His career is marked by a deep commitment to both teaching and research, particularly in the areas of Molecular and Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, and Genetics.

    From April 2019 until August 2024, Dr. Sunil served as an Assistant Professor at the Medical University of the Americas. In this role, he not only shared his expertise across a broad range of subjects but also played an active role in academic administration. He contributed to the academic community through his work on key committees such as the Research Day Committee and the RLRA Committee. Dr. Sunil’s dedication to education is further reflected in his involvement in research projects, with numerous publications in prestigious journals and presentations at scientific conferences worldwide.

    His academic path includes distinguished postdoctoral fellowships at the University of California, Davis. Between 2017 and 2019, Dr. Sunil worked in both the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, making significant contributions to these fields. He completed his Ph.D. in Biotechnology at Banaras Hindu University, India, from 2012 to 2017, where he cultivated his passion for research and scientific education.
