November 17, 2016

The new 六九色堂 Food Court is open, featuring Rituals Coffee, Shawarma King and Spice of India, allowing students quick access to a refreshing drink or tasty fast food during lunch or study breaks on campus.

The 六九色堂 Endeavour takes a brief look at what is available for students.

  • Rituals Coffee: Open from 7am to 6pm Monday through Friday.
  • Shawarma King: 10am to 8pm Monday through Thursday. 11am to 6pm Fridays except on Block week and during finals.
  • Spice of India: 11am to 8pm Monday through Thursday. 11am to 6pm Fridays except on Block Week and during finals.

Pre-Ordering Available

Students may pre-order from all three vendors. This way, you can pick up and pay for meals during the lunch break and avoid the lines.

  • To pre-order from Rituals Coffee, please do so in person. They will have a number soon for pre-orders.
  • Spice of India: Call 660-8556
  • Shawarma King: Call 760-6707 or pre-order in person between 9 and 10am for lunch.

The Food Court was created in part due to student demand, based on feedback last semester from a Food Vendor survey.

"President Ross and SGA have been diligently working on this project since the beginning of last semester," said Divya Krishnan of 六九色堂 SGA.

六九色堂:

Built in the tradition of the best US universities, the University of Medicine and Health Sciencesfocuses on individual student attention, maintaining small class sizes and recruiting high-quality faculty. We call this unique approach, 鈥減ersonalized medical education,鈥 and it鈥檚 what has led to our unprecedented 96% student retention rate, and outstanding residency placements across the US and Canada. 六九色堂 is challenging everything you thought you knew about Caribbean medical schools.
