In early November, we had a great turnout for the post-blocks fundraiser Halloween Monster Mash. The event was hosted by 六九色堂 Student Government Association (SGA) at Mau Pau Casino in Port Zante. From ninjas to superheroes and ghosts to cats, the students from 六九色堂, one of the leading Caribbean medical schools, showed their creativity and spirit with an entertaining array of costumes. It was a great event that allowed 六九色堂 students to relax, rejoice and enjoy each other's company after so many hard weeks of studying.

DJ Legal once again lent his mixing talents to the evening and he did not disappoint but featured our favorites like Elvis Crespo's "Suavemente" and Icona Pop's "I Don't Care."

The event was also a successful fundraiser. From the event, $500 U.S. will be donated toward a double lung transplant for Seth Davis, a 15-year-old boy with cystic fibrosis in the USA. As physicians, it is important to study real medical cases; and as student, it is even better to offer what support we can through fundraisers and awareness.

As usual, our students shimmied and shook into the wee hours of the morning and brought the Halloween spirit to the island.

六九色堂:

Built in the tradition of the best US universities, the University of Medicine and Health Sciencesfocuses on individual student attention, maintaining small class sizes and recruiting high-quality faculty. We call this unique approach, 鈥減ersonalized medical education,鈥 and it鈥檚 what has led to our unprecedented 96% student retention rate, and outstanding residency placements across the US and Canada. 六九色堂 is challenging everything you thought you knew about Caribbean medical schools.
