    Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Referral Programs

    The University of Medicine and Health Sciences greatly values the contributions of its students and alumni, whose referrals have been instrumental in attracting a compassionate and driven student body.  The Student and Alumni Referral Programs reward these valuable contributions, supporting the university's continued growth. Additionally, siblings enrolled at Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà may be eligible for a tuition discount.

     

    Student Referral Program

    Help us recruit the future class of Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà in 5 easy steps:

    • A friend or family member applies and inputs your full name (correctly spelled) into the referral section of the online application. This is required in order to correctly identify you, the referrer.
    • This student is accepted to the med program, enrolls, and completes a semester in good academic and financial standing.
    • Admissions conducts a simple verification of the referral.
    • The bursar is notified of your tuition discount prior to your course registration.
    • The credit will appear in your records, you will be notified, and you will receive a $1,000 credit the subsequent semester.*

    Alumni Referral Program

    Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà graduates are invited to participate in a unique program which rewards our alumni for their referrals of prospective students.

    Here's how the program works:

    • A prospective student applies and inputs the alumnus' full name (correctly spelled) into the referral section of the online application. This is required in order to correctly identify you, the referrer.
    • This student is accepted to the med program, enrolls, and completes a semester in good academic and financial standing.
    • Admissions conducts a verification of enrollment, academic status, and financial status with the Registrar and Bursar. 
    • Accounts Payable is notified of the applicable credit ($1,000 USD per eligible referred student) and a check is issued to you, the referring physician.

    Sibling Tuition Discount

    Siblings attending Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà may be eligible to receive a 5% tuition discount:

    • Siblings are identified at the time of application. The sibling applies and inputs your full name (correctly spelled) into the referral section of the online application. This is required in order to correctly identify you, the enrolled sibling.
    • Admissions notifies the Bursar of the newly enrolled sibling, where the information is recorded.
    • The Bursar verifies the registration for the siblings. They must be actively enrolled, registered, or rotating for the term for which credit is applied.
    • A 5% tuition credit is entered for each eligible sibling, and both the students and the financial aid office are notified.*

    *Tuition credits can not refunded as they remain on the student’s account to be used for tuition charges. For financial aid recipients, the tuition credits may result in an adjustment to the student’s financial aid loan.
