Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà has graduates working in a wide range of medical specialties, from internal medicine and family medicine to cardiology, neurology, psychiatry, anesthesiology, emergency medicine and ophthalmology to OB-GYN and sports medicine and many more. Our new Alumni Association website offers a forum where our graduates can reconnect with other Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà alumni, inform us about one’s current residency, fellowship, private practice, and recently published research, get involved with Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà to help our admissions department recruit new students at college fairs and pre-med clubs, learn about speaking and livestream opportunities, Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà events in your area, virtual and in-person alumni mixers, and more.

Class Notes

Curious where Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà graduates are working now? Visit Class Notes, a page on the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Alumni Association website where graduates can discover where their fellow Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà graduates are working now, their contributions to medicine and their personal milestones.

Class Notes is the go-to spot to see how Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà alumni are making a difference in the USA and Canada. Alumni members may fill out our Class Notes form to share their own updates with the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Alumni Association and the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà community.

The mission of the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Alumni Association is to promote the interest, welfare and advancement of the University, to advance the cause of medical education, and to maintain close and mutually beneficial relationships among the alumni, students and institutional leadership of Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ.

Alumni Association Awards & future site plans

The Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Alumni Association website has many exciting things planned for the near future, including the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Alumni Association Awards.

The Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Alumni Association plans to hold its first annual Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Alumni Association Awards in the 2024-2025 school year. We will honor and recognize outstanding alumni with a series of awards. Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà alumni, faculty, staff and medical professionals will be encouraged to nominate alumni for one or more of the awards listed below.

Award categories include the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Dr. Robert Ross Memorial Alumni Award, in memory of the founder of Áù¾ÅÉ«ÌÃ, Dr. Robert Ross. The award will recognize an alumnus whose professional achievements and contributions to healthcare have helped improve the lives of the people in the community in which the alumni member serves, via a residency, fellowship or professional private practice or through research. The Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Alumni Health Equity Award will recognize an alumnus making a difference in medically underserved areas and/or minority communities, including but not limited to: rural areas, inner-city areas, low-income areas, Black, Latino/a, Asian, Native American and First Nations communities, LGBTQ+ communities, women’s health issues, and more. Finally, the Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Alumni Early Achievement Award will honor a Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà alumnus who has graduated in the past five years and has excelled in their career, making significant contributions to public health through clinical care, medical science, research or humanitarianism. Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà will post a nomination form on the Alumni Association website in late 2024 or early 2025 and an official voting ballot a few weeks afterward.

Visit the site regularly to learn about upcoming virtual and in-person alumni mixers. Other future plans for the site include a secure searchable alumni portal, an alumni mentorship program and more.
